The Metametadata Architecture System
A Proposed Metametadata Architecture System is designed to manage the integrating components of learning objects, metadata, metametadata and its scheme and ontologies in a situated learning domain. This will enable towards a more effective and functional searching mechanisms using metametadata attached to learning objects with ontologies to support the semantic definition for the learning objects. A hierarchical options or searching criteria will be created together with its semantic definition that encounter searching difficulties. An architecture is developed to incorporate all those components to enhance the discoverability and more adaptive results. This will identify relationships between metadata and the Semantic properties definition, explicit stated semantic and semantic values within the ontology. The novelty of the reserach is the proposed metametadata scheme build based on the SCORM and IEEE LOM schemes.
